Every Internet Marketer knows how powerful blogging can be and how much it can raise their profit margins when it is done well. Unfortunately, not every Internet Marketer knows how to ensure that they are able to keep their success going once they have found it. It’s very important that you keep putting work into your blog or you aren’t going to be at the forefront of your field for very long.
The level of success you desire doesn’t matter–this is still true. Make sure that you regularly do each of the following things.
If your readers get frustrated with reading your blog, then that will be a problem. Take a look at other blogs that rank well and see exactly what they do with their content formatting. But you know of course there is great value with testing, and that can often lead you to make startling discoveries. The idea is to make sure that people can scan your content without having to move their screens up if they don’t want to. We think it is always best to stick to the basics with just about everything even though there are advanced strategies you can use.
Imagine you are sitting across the table from someone in your niche, and then write like you would talk to them in that scenario. Also remember that you have to be careful about how you use humor in your posts if you do. You can and should talk to your audience based on what you know about them which is important. So if you decide to explain something valuable, then hopefully they will see how valuable that really is. So just try to not write in a way that makes people think you are not being genuine or not sincere.
Obviously you already have a few social media profiles. At the bare minimum you probably have a Facebook and Twitter account. You might also have accounts on Reddit, LinkedIn, Digg, etc. Be sure that you have prominent buttons for these accounts on your blog.
This tells your readers that it’s easy to follow you on all of those accounts. Remember, you want your readers to feel as connected to you as possible and if you hide your social media accounts, they won’t be able to do that. This means it will be harder to share what you’ve got to offer with them which makes it, in turn, harder to sell to them.
A great many things will factor into the overall success of your blog. There’s more to it than simply setting up a free sites and slapping some PLR content up on it every so often. It’s important to keep track of all of the different elements–from your design to the calls to action you feature. Use these hints to help you get started.
